Das UN World Food Programme (WFP) wird von einem Exekutivrat geführt, der aus 36 Mitgliedstaaten besteht, WFP in der Strategiefindung unterstützt und WFP-Programme kontrolliert.
Ohne die Möglichkeit, Lebensmittel zu produzieren oder zu importieren, ist die gesamte Bevölkerung des Gazastreifens auf humanitäre Hilfe angewiesen, um zu überleben. Doch diese Hilfe allein kann die Not der Menschen im Gazastreifen nicht lindern.
Regierungen sind die wichtigsten Partner des UN World Food Programme (WFP). In jeder Phase der Programmplanung arbeitet WFP mit nationalen und lokalen Behörden zusammen.
